Mark Jensen, owner of Kokopelli Racing, LLC and former Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at GLUKOS Energy and Nike guy created the Kokopelli 100 out of his desire to elevate the growing sport of mountain biking while showcasing the world’s best cyclists. “All of the stars aligned for one of the greatest stories in the history of cycling as I worked with Jeremiah Bishop on the Kokopelli 100. The quintessential Kokopelli Trail in Moab, Utah and the world’s greatest cyclists pursuing a world record for the largest prize purse in history. I can’t think of many stories that top that,” Jensen said.

Jeremiah Bishop of the Topeak Ergon Pro Racing Team, one of the world’s greatest mountain bikers and the brain child of the Kokopelli 100 is already registered and excited to race for a new world record and $50,000. Bishop said, “The Kokopelli 100 has always been a bucket list race idea that Mark Jensen has made a reality. Is a 5:15 for men or 5:30 for women time possible on this course? It will be tough for sure, but I start recon rides the end of May and will be giving the Kokopelli my all in pursuit of that $50,000 check and a WR!”

Kokopelli Racing, LLC has partnered with industry leading companies and brands and will begin announcing race partners next week. Due to a limited race field, pro registration has already begun. Pro riders will also be announced systematically in the weeks to come.
